When any substance is used or abused on a recurring basis, physical and psychological dependence often occurs.
At Touchstone Ranch Recovery Center, we are proud to offer individualized medical detoxification services, utilizing the safest, comfortable and most effective medical practices.
We design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client, which includes daily individual sessions with your therapist.
Our medical team includes board certified psychiatrists who specialize in addiction psychiatry and neurology; physicians who specialize in substance use disorder treatment and sleep disorders, and nurse practitioners, nurses, certified medical assistants, and certified support staff. We treat clients who are addicted to opioids, sedatives, cannabis, stimulants, alcohol, and any other illicit or addictive substances. Overcoming a drug or alcohol addiction may be one of the most difficult challenges a person can face, but with support, recovery is possible.

What to Expect in Our Detoxification Program
The medical detoxification process at TRRC begins during the initial consultation with our compassionate medical and clinical teams. We will gather information about medical history and substance use and create a customized medical detox treatment plan to address specific needs.
The detoxification process is medically managed 24 hours per day by our physicians, nurses and Medical Director. A typical detox period is between three to ten days, or longer depending upon the substance use history.
Client safety and comfort is our first priority, which includes new linens and pillows, pillow top mattresses, televisions and individual thermostats in each private detox room, located within our newly renovated, private detox corridor in close proximity to medical/nursing offices and staff. Detox progress will be carefully monitored, and we can provide medication to alleviate cravings, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance, body aches, and nausea.
Medical treatment for substance use disorder is best combined with individual and group therapy as tolerated by each individual. A compatible buddy is assigned to help assist in the acclimation process and provide support during early treatment.
Our goal is to help you achieve long-term recovery by focusing on your medical detoxification, holistic health, and spiritual well-being to support your treatment.

This place is AMAZING! If you are seeking complete rehabilitation with strong aftercare, look no further. The staff is caring and always there to help. The education, facilities, and food are all phenomenal. The counselors are genuine and truly want to get to the core of your addiction, not just detox you and send you on your way. I stayed for an additional month, a total of 4, and they worked with me on the financial piece since insurance coverage had ended. It was completely worth the cost and I couldn’t be more grateful. While I hope to never relapse, if I do, I will be back there in a heartbeat.
I was at Touchstone a few years ago. I am from NC and it was SO worth the plane ticket. I can’t thank Debbie enough for what she did for me. She had an awesome staff. Her counselors were amazing, the nurses were wonderful, and the food was much better than you get at home!! When you are away from family you want to be around people who care for you. You also want a great place to be comfortable and sleep well!! Debbie cares about you being comfortable and she makes sure the little things and the big things are taken care of!!!
