At TRRC, our alcohol treatment program is designed for anyone who has struggled to quit using or abusing alcohol, and is ready for a more powerful solution to beating the habit for good. A diagnosis of alcohol dependence or alcohol use disorder is made after careful evaluation by a professional. It is possible to abuse alcohol, but not follow the typical pattern of alcoholism. The latest scientific research and growing evidence shows that even small amounts of alcohol can have serious health consequences. Alcohol is a carcinogen that can cause at least seven types of cancer; liver disease is on the rise and alcohol consumption is one of the main causes and a contributing risk factor for cardiovascular disease including high blood pressure, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and stroke. Alcohol is frequently associated with violent and aggressive behavior.

What to Expect in Our Alcohol Treatment Program
Once the client's personalized alcohol treatment plan is completed, progress is guided and monitored daily by our our entire medical, psychological and therapeutic treatment team, who provide weekly family updates to the primary point of contact. The client's treatment plan will be reassessed and modified to maximize the potential for positive results throughout the duration of treatment.
Our team of dedicated professionals has taken their own experiences and combined them with industry-proven methods to develop an alcohol addiction recovery program that helps our clients overcome their addiction and transition to a life of joy and sobriety.
Our recovery programs are specifically designed for adults who are currently struggling with alcohol addiction, and may have experienced rehabilitation programs or Alcoholics Anonymous, but continue to struggle with sobriety, and are in need of a program that is more intensive than a traditional 30-day rehabilitation program.
We offer a comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic approach to alcohol addiction treatment, which includes state of the art equine therapy and 12-step support programs that provide each participant with a solid foundation to enjoy a happy, healthy, sober life.

This place is AMAZING! If you are seeking complete rehabilitation with strong aftercare, look no further. The staff is caring and always there to help. The education, facilities, and food are all phenomenal. The counselors are genuine and truly want to get to the core of your addiction, not just detox you and send you on your way. I stayed for an additional month, a total of 4, and they worked with me on the financial piece since insurance coverage had ended. It was completely worth the cost and I couldn’t be more grateful. While I hope to never relapse, if I do, I will be back there in a heartbeat.
I was at Touchstone a few years ago. I am from NC and it was SO worth the plane ticket. I can’t thank Debbie enough for what she did for me. She had an awesome staff. Her counselors were amazing, the nurses were wonderful, and the food was much better than you get at home!! When you are away from family you want to be around people who care for you.
